Thermo forming is used to
pack fresh products into modified atmosphere (MAP). Thermoforming
machine is forming the bottom film according to the product (it can be
rigid or soft), then the product is inserted and the top film seals
the package.
It is also popular to pack non food products with
this type of machines. It is called blister packaging and most usual
applications are stationery, tools, toys, electric equipment and
others.
